So far, for the money, this is the best camcorder I've ever had. Easy to use, so it gets used.
I take it to dance classes and then save the session to my computer. Very easy to operate, uncomplicated controls,so small you can carry it in your shirt pocket. Does exactly what it's supposed to and does it well. Pics taken from video look better than some still cameras. I love this this little recorder.
We love this flip. It picks up sound from the person taking the video and everyone around it. It's cheap, easy to use, light, and has good built-in software for posting videos to Youtube. It also has a great microphone. The other thing that I like about it is that is uses 2 AA batteries. It's nice to have a piece of electronic equipment without a charger to plug in.
At the end of the day, she used the 'Classic' selection to edit it all into one video clip. My 12-year old Daughter wanted a video camera for her birthday because I had recently purchased one for myself. This was the perfect solution. We went to dinner and then to the mall and she was shooting bits and pieces here and there. She absolutely loves it and I was so impressed, I may buy my older 2 kids their own for Christmas. I paid just over $100.
It turned those clips into one beautiful video with music playing in the background. I didn't think she was ready for a camcorder, plus I didn't want to spend $300. We were blown away by the finished product. and this thing is amazing. The picture and sound surprised me at how crisp and clear they were. It's as if the camera had a mind of it's own as it seemed to highlight the most important scenes.
Great product and a great price.
I bought this for my 6 year old grandson. Even he can work it. Easy, small, great overall.
